Back in 2006, a “PPOA Board Candidate Coffee” was advertized on member owned Channel 28, to be held at the home of Board Member Lloyd Jones. His wife, along with former Board Member Sally Baker were said to be hosts. Lloyd was in attendance, naturally.

Of particular note, was that while the advertizements, shown below, refer to a “meet the candidates”, only three names were listed as “candidates”. The other Board candidates names were not listed, nor were they invited to participate. Clearly this constitutes an endorsement as the “coffee” did happen on schedule. Also, by placing just three names on the Channel 28 commercials, it in essence sounded the jungle telegraph as to who the “control group” was supporting! All PPOA members paid for these advertizements!!!
